3 Manila teams to invade Cebu
CEBU, Philippines - Three teams from Manila will be coming over to the Queen City of the South for a three-day goodwill games billed as the Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama Collegiate Invitational on June 14-16 at the Cebu Coliseum.
Cebuano hoop fans could expect an exciting hardcourt action the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) and Lyceum University will go up against the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras, the reigning Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) champion.
SWU will take on Lyceum on opening day at 7 pm, while FEU will mix it up with Mapua in the first game at 5 pm. They will play in a single round robin format. The team with the best record will automatically be declared as champion. (FREEMAN)
