URCC showdown tonight at j centre mall; Bullos battles for ‘Survival’against ‘Death from Tokyo’

CEBU, Philippines - URCC Visayas bantamweight champion Cary ‘The Prince’ Bullos will slug it out with his first foreign opponent in Japanese striker Hedio ‘Death from Tokyo’ Morikawa in the main event of the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC)-Cebu:Survival tonight at J Centre Mall Convention Hall along A.S. Fortuna Street in Brgy. Bakilid, Mandaue City.

This also marks Bullos' ring comeback from a one-year layoff.

“I won’t promise a knockout or a submission. All I can say is that this fight with Morikawa will be a war in the ring,” said the 30-year-old fighter from SELDEF MMA.

In the equally-exciting undercards, Ground and Pound lightweight champion Lorde Rey Yamit of Python’s Pit will go up against Bullos' teammate Jimmy ‘Silencer’ Yabo, while Vaughn ‘Spawn’ Donayre of Yaw-Yan ArDigma and DEFTAC Cebu will take on veteran Mindanao warrior Allan Atup.

The rest of the matches feature Roel Rosauro vs. Jeremy Quinonero; Alexander Abraham vs. Philipe Demecilio; Arnel Ylanan vs. Jhonjher Torbiso; Moises Nodalo vs. Ervin Musico; and Rodel Rejalde vs. Leo Rodrigo. (FREEMAN)
