3rd Sinulog footballfest set Jan. 12-13

CEBU, Philippines -   Football action will greet the new year with the staging of the 3rd Sinulog Football Festival on January 12 and 13 simultaneously at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center in Brgy. Talamban, Cebu City  and at the San Roque Parish field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

The two-day competition features 12 categories - players 6, 8, and 10, boys 12, 14 and 17, inter-BPO, 38-above, men’s open, girls 14, 17 and ladies open.

The participating teams will play in a 7-a-side format except for the players 6 and 8, which will follow a five-a-side.

Registration fee is pegged at P600 for players 6 and 8, while the rest of the age-groups will have an entry fee of P700. Entries in the men’s and ladies open as well as in the inter-BPO and 38-above will be assessed with P1,000.

To put everything in place, the  organizing Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC) is calling all interested coaches for a meeting tomorrow at the new Cebu Football Association (CFA) office near the main entrance of the Cebu City Sports Center.
