CIT-U keglers rule Medellin 2012 Bowling Cup

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Institute of Technology-University Registrar together with Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) President Gretchen Tormis and the rest of the CIT-U bowlers captured the Medellin 2012 Bowling Cup recently at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center.

Tormis teamed up with an all-female bowling team composed of CETBA's finest lady pinbusters in Baby Bacon, Salve Tesio and Makoto Osada. They finished the four-game action with a total of 2,888 pinfalls. CIT-U rallied with four straight strikes to clinch the crown.

Golden Field Hardware of Boy Kua, Alex Lagcao, Romel Medallo and Roger Asumbrado wound up second with 2,845 pinfalls, while Rich Catsup of Nestor Longcanaya, Omar Marsangca, Alex Damole and Jake Yap placed third with 2,809 pinfalls.

The CIT-U Bowling Team now trains its sights on the forthcoming 4th Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association National Open Tournament slated on November 21-25. (FREEMAN)
