Cebuano downhillers shine in CDO

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebuano downhillers from OZ Racing led by the multi-titled JR Barba shone brightly in the third and final leg of the 2012 DROP National Series in Cagayan de Oro City.

Barba once again dominated the premiere elite open class.

Eusebio Ravanes, on the other hand, took home a silver medal in the 20-29 age group, while Galvin Galan wound up third in the same class as Ravanes.

Three other Cebuanos made it to the top 10 cast under the 40-above division. Victor Bagano ended up third, Fulvio Narciso placed fifth followed by Zandro Fajardo.

The participants negotiated a meandering four-kilomterer course packed with rocky surface, dangerous drops and tricky jumps.   - THE FREEMAN
