Cebuano karters see action in Carmona

CEBU, Philippines - The young but promising Cebuano go-kart racers led by Juan Antonio Carcel hope to bring home the bacon as the second round of the Asian Karting Open Championships gets underway today at the Carmona racetrack in Cavite.

Carcel is joined by Jette Calderon, Liam Sacal, and Joseph and Vince Rojo.

Carcel is the only Cebuano joining in the KF2 category.

Carcel said there are 28 of them in the grid that makes it a lot harder. But like any other races, he is expected to give his best to win the battle.

Calderon and Joseph Rojo are competing in the KF3, while Sacal and Vince Rojo will strut their wares in the mini ROK division. (FREEMAN)
