CEBU, Philippines - Konstrukt Permaplast and Healthy Home fended off separate foes to stay on top of the leaderboard in the United Architects Basketball Club (UABC) Mini Cup 2012 at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.
Bull-strong center Antonio "Jay-R" Decatoria pumped in 24 points as Konstrukt Permaplast downed KnoxOut, 73-65, while Michael Cinco returned to action with a bang, firing in 25 points capped by the game-clinching fadeaway jumper in Healthy Home's 71-69 conquest of Wallguard.
Konstrukt Permaplast and Healthy Home now share the overall lead with identical 3-1 win-loss records. KnoxOut and Wallguard both fell to 2-2 in a tie with Plexibond, which chalked up its second win at the expense of Titan Elastomeric, 70-68. Titan Elastomeric crashed to 0-4 to stay as the only winless squad in the six-team league.
