Convergys crushes Calltek in CSCC E-League Hoopla

CEBU, Philippines - The streaking Convergys Wolves roared off to a 92-41 victory over the Calltek Trojans in the continuing action of the Sun Cellular-presented 8th CSCC E-League men's basketball tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Joshua Ryan Yam scattered 19 points on top of nine rebounds and two assists event as four others cashed in double figures for Convergys, which did not give Calltek any breathing space after posting a commanding 42-23 lead at halftime.

Jose Felix Cleopas added 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals, Nathanael John Caparoso banged in 11 markers, while Ronald Mabanto and Tomas Mora, Jr. each scored 10 for Convergys, which hammered Calltek in the final two quarters to come up with a 51-point rout.

Aerl Genebraldo was the lone bright spot for Calltek with 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals.

In the other games, the ePerformax Reds shackled the JP Morgan Bankers, 76-41, while the Lexmark Stallions galloped past the SupportSave Jaguars, 75-58.

Floyd Dean Singco paced ePerformax with 16 points followed by Alejandro Ruiz with 14 markers, while Franco Angelo Cipriano topscored for Lexmark with 22 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals, two blocks and two assists in an all-around show of hardcourt brilliance.
