Missos, Cardenas dominate Tourism Fun Run
CEBU, Philippines - Kenyan Abraham Missos handily won the Tourism Fun Run at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu yesterday.
Missos completed the five-kilometer run in 17 minutes and 34.56 seconds, comfortable enough to win the title over Adonis Singson, who finished in 18:10.32. Michael Largo wound up third with a 18:12.67 clocking.
In the distaff side, Lynle Cardenas reigned supreme with the time of 23:21.90. Camila Luterte placed second in 25:58.37 followed by Merlita Arias cin 27:02.56.
Ludivio Doquitan stole part of the limelight after taking the best in costume award.
On the other hand, Fit-Fil Cebu fielded in the biggest delegation with 28 male and 39 female runners.
Ruth’s Running Club got the best in uniform, while the F1 Fun 1ners with balloon head dress was the most cheerful group. - THE FREEMAN
