MMA action in Mandaue on June 30

CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano fight fans will once again be treated to exciting Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action as Soma Kickboxing Club stages the first edition of their fight card dubbed as “Who Are You?: Unleash D’ Unstoppable” on June 30 at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

Aside from host team Soma, participating the 11-pair fight card are fighters from different MMA clubs in Cebu — Durex Dragon KBC, Bullet Muay-Thai, Komjokai Aikijutsu, Projectile Pit Muay-Thai, ArcomJukai and Yaw-Yan Ardigma-Cebu. 

In the main event, Soma’s ace fighter and unbeaten James Joel ‘Spider’ Serenio will square off against Jafet ‘Smiling’ Flores, while Yaw-Yan ArDigma stalwart and URCC veteran Geronimo ‘Dare Devil’ Etac will go toe-to-toe against Leo ‘D Bull’ Rodrigo.   — THE FREEMAN
