Marco Polo Sportsfest on June 16
CEBU, Philippines - Employees of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu will take a much-needed break from their work through an inter-color sportsfest on June 16.
This year’s action will feature four teams - Green, Red, Yellow, and Blue.
The multi-sport gathering begins with a 3-kilometer fun run at 5 am starting at the Cebu IT Park and ending at Marco Polo Plaza grounds.
Janice Jacaban-Magsumbol, one of the hotel's sales executives, said the rest of the events to be contested include basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis.
During the sportsfest, employees are allowed to wear their sports attire except for the operations staff on duty.
The event is aimed at fostering fellowship and camaraderie among Marco Polo employees as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle so they can work more efficiently and serve their guests best. (FREEMAN)
