CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano pedal-pushers of all ages and bike disciplines are invited to take part in the Cycle in the City on June 16 at the Banilad Town Center.
The fun ride and bike festival rolled into one will promptly kick off at 6 am. It is open to all road bikers, mountainbikers, foldies, tandem bikers and BMX racers.
For the fun ride, the participants will negotiate a 25-kilometer route around the city. Afterwhich, the BTC Bicycle Parking Zone will be formally unvieled.
Although not a competition, those who will be joining the event have something to look forward to as the organizers will be handing out special awards.
These include the best in fancy attire, youngest and oldest bikers, biggest group/contingent and the vintage bike.
