2 golds for TCC Dancesport in US
CEBU, Philippines - Dancesport-Team Cebu City got two gold medals in the recently-concluded Philadelphia Festival and Dancesport Championship at the Philadelphia Airport Marriot Hotel in the United States.
Mae Lozada, one of the DTCC’s top bets emerged victorious in the adult amateur international multi-dance event with Dumaguete’s Dennis Sy.
Lozada and Sy blended well together to win the Latin amateur pre-champion featuring chachahcha, samba and rhumba.
This is the first time that Lozada paired with Sy, yet they still managed to wow the crowd.
Lozada told The FREEMAN though that since its only their first time together, they decided to join in one category only.
On the other hand, the tireless Victoria “Ricca” Alix and her long-time dance partner, Renante Saldua won the pre-champ-standard competition.
Lozada, on behalf of the rest is thankful for those who helped them in their latest bid in the U.S. especially Acre by Josephine Perotta, who sponsored their costumes.
Lozada said the four of them are still deciding on what other events to join in while in the U.S. (FREEMAN)
