Fun Run for Buhisan on June 3

CEBU, Philippines - The Basilica del Sto. Niño spearheads a run for environmental awareness through the 'Halad Dagan sa Buhisan Alang Kang Sr. Sto. Niño" on June 3 starting from the basilica up to the Buhisan Dam.

The event organizers are expecting different religious groups as well as environmental coalition groups and private corporations to take part in the charity run for a cause.

With the involvement of private entities, the event is expected to be an avenue for them to manifest their corporate social responsibilities, with June being the 'World Environment' month.

The race is also being held to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of Buhisan dam and Fuente Osmeña link.
