Six teams see action in Dedon sportsfest
CEBU, Philippines - Dedon, a leading furniture exporting firm in Mandaue City, has launched its annual sportsfest among its 480 employees from eight departments.
Six teams vie for top honors in seven events that will be contested - basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, darts, chess, scrabble and airsoft.
Herve Lampert, president and chief operating officer of the company, said this is one way of helping the employees become productive.
“We treat our employees as partners, in fact very year we select outstanding partners with prizes at stake,” said Lampert.
Lampert added that this is their way of thanking the employees for the success of the company.
May Aldemita, corporate affairs officer, said the sport fest will last until December.
Dedon was founded by Bobby Dekeyser, a former goalie of Bayern Munich Soccer Club.(PR)(FREEMAN)
