CEBU, Philippines - Luke Bolongan topped the April edition of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA)-Prima Monthly Tournament 2012 at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Brgy. Banilad, this city.
Bolongan completed the six-game series with a total of 1, 308 pinfalls or an average of 210 pins per game.
Jomar Jumapao wound up second with 1,301 pinfalls followed by Clarence Tiu (1, 240), Sal Bolongan (1,204) and Wilbert Yu (1,181).
Rounding up the top 10 finishers were Alexander Lagcao (1,179), Andrew Yap (1,153), Bede Ilano (1, 145), Vivian Padawan (1,103), and Dante Calipay (1, 097).
Meanwhile, the management of Gaisano Bowlingplex extended its congratulations to the graduates of its bowling lesson program.
The program covers the basic knowledge and background (lecture), the training and skills ( proper and basic bowling techniques ) and skills improvement (individual assessment and evaluation).
The seven graduates namely Christine Amomonpon, Brett Tampus, Mae Flor Joaquino, Mark Joseph Signe, Roslyn Onglatco, Kelvin Imbong and Marlou Agbay are all members of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired Association of Cebu.
"It is our pride and honor to have them with us. Giving us the opportunity to impart and share with them our knowledge and skills, allowing us to use bowling as a tool to introduce and reach out to individuals who has the passion in bowling," said Gaisano Bowlingplex in a press statement.
