CEBU, Philippines - Actor turned motocrosser Jordan Herrera and riders from Sel-J Racing, the country’s most organized racing club at present, will be on hand to add glitz and glamour to the third leg of the 2012 MS Motosuit Motocross Series dubbed as the '14th Ornopia Cup' this Sunday in Brgy. Calambua, San Remigio.
Unlike other actors who join motocross just for “pogi points”, if not, for the talent free, Herrera proved many times that he’s into the sport for the love of it.
Herrera had already competed in several races here in Cebu, including the previous MS Motosuit Series.
Sel-J Racing, on the other hand, will be led by their big boss Jay Lacnit.
A bunch of riders from the different areas within the Vis-Min region are also expected to see action in the exciting race supported by Petron Philippines and Du Ek Sam.
Prior to the 14th Ornopia Cup, the riders will first plunge into action in the 1st Tambongon Youth Festival Motocross this Saturday in Tambongon, San Remigio.
After the back-to-back legs in San Remigio, the series will resume on May 19 via the 1st Barangay Panugnawan Motocross in Panugnawan, Medillen. It will be followed by the 2nd Mayor Butch Sepulveda Motocross Cup on May 29 in the municipality of Borbon.—(FREEMAN)
