Branzuela captures two titles in CHEDA darts event

CEBU, Philippines - Rodmar Branzuela clinched a pair of titles in the final phase of the 3rd City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA) Darts League last Friday night at the Yayoy's Grill and Resto Bar.

Branzuela, who enjoyed a twice-to-beat advantage for topping the winners' bracket, blanked previous leg winner Roniel Pedrosa, 2-0, to clinch the singles crown.

Jomar Amerol wound up third, while Alvin Villa came out fourth followed by Jerome Perales and Winnie Ocañada.

Branzuela later teamed up with Amerol to dominate the doubles category. They defeated the tandem of Villa and Rubi for the top spot.

Pedrosa and the little-known Richard Consolacion placed third, while Dick-Dick Ramirez and Alan Veloso landed at fourth. - THE FREEMAN
