A total of 30 players made it to the training pool, but only 22 of them will go to Italy for a 20-day training, according to coach Oliver Colina.
After fine-tuning their skills in Italy, the team will then focus on their final preparations for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Festival of Football in Malaysia this June.

The Cebu Queen City United FC will wrap up its elimination round campaign in the Second Division of United Football League (UFL) today against the Meltique Beef FC at the University of Makati (UMak) field. Game time is set at 6 pm.
The rampaging Queen City under the tutelage of Mario Ceniza are currently ranked third overall with 21 points on seven wins, one draw and two defeats.
QCU representative Glenn Quisido said winning the match is very important for the Cebuano booters as the total points garnered in the first round will be carried over in the second phase of the tournament.

Cebu will take on Iloilo in its first home game in the Visayas leg of the PFF Suzuki Cup Under-23 Football Tournament scheduled at 1:30 this afternoon at the Aboitiz Sports Field (ASF) in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

Cebu hurdled its opening assignment with finesse against Leyte, 4-1. In their previous match, they fought to a 2-all draw with Negros Oriental Football Association (NOFA) last week in Dumaguete City.
