Phl coach to hold triathlon clinic today at Plantation Bay

CEBU, Philippines - National triathlon coach Melvin Fausto will conduct a clinic today for the participants of the 2012 Century Tuna SuperTriKids and National Age-Group Triathlon Series (NAGT)-Cebu leg at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.

The organizers of the event are encouraging the participants to take part in the clinic especially the kids and the first-timers so they will be fully equipped with the technical know-how of the three-in-one sport going into this weekend's race.

The competition proper for kids dubbed as SuperTriKids will be on Saturday, while the regular NAGT action takes place on Sunday.

Kids will be dealing with a short and safe route as they swim in Plantation Bay's saltwater lagoon, bike and run through the cart path and driveway all within the premises of the posh resort.

Aside from the clinic, the participants will also have a chance to practice at the venue before race day.

The two-day tilt is presented by Century Tuna in association with Plantation Bay Resort and Spa headed by its general manager Efren Belarmino, Runnr Shop in Ayala, Speedo Ayala, Rudy Project, Lapu-Lapu City government through Mayor Paz Radaza and councilor Harry Radaza, the municipality of Cordova led by mayor Adelino Sitoy and councilor Zimgil Sitoy, Smart Communications and Dan Ramirez of Dan's Bike Shop. - THE FREEMAN
