 Milo Junior C'hips next week

CEBU, Philippines -The Visayas leg of this year's Milo Junior Tennis Championships will take place from March 28 to April 1 at the Cebu International Tennis Centre, Inc. (CITCI) courts in the municipality of Consolacion.

The age-group categories to be contested include the unisex 10-under, boys and girls 12, 14, 16 and 18. There will also be a doubles event.

The winners will represent the region in the national finals set later this year.

Smart Head Junior Circuit

After the Milo event comes the Cebu leg of the Smart Head Junior Tennis Circuit slated from April 22 to 25. It will be participated in by racquet-wielders from the Vis-Min region.

CITCI Summer Clinic

In between the two tournaments, aspiring netters will have an avenue to further hone up their skills and improve their technical know-how on the sport through the CITCI-organized summer camp from April 10 to May 5. The training session is on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 3 to 5 pm.

Those who can't make it to Consolacion can join another batch at the Seuson tennis courts in Brgy. Lahug from April 11 to May 5. The training schedule will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11 am or from 1 to 3 pm.

The clinic will be handled by the OTR Hong Kong-trained coaches on a very affordable fee. CITCI members will get discounts upon registration.
