ABS-CBN, Studio 23 to air 'Pinoy Pride XIII'

CEBU, Philippines - The WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight championship between AJ “Bazooka” Banal and Mexican challenger Raul “El Bule” Hidalgo will be aired on ABS-CBN Channel 2 and STUDIO 23 today.

ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports’ main event feature of "Pinoy Pride XIII:Road To Glory" will be shown on ABS-CBN at 10:15 am and on Studio 23 at 3:30 pm.

The WBO top bantamweight contender Banal will try to bolster his chance of fighting for a world title this year.

Another Philippines vs. Mexico contest that will be featured pits reigning OPBF flyweight champion Rocky “Road Warrior” Fuentes vs. Javier "El Chivero" Franco. It's a first time for Fuentes to trade fistic bombs with a Mexican opponent.

Completing the exciting show is a pair of Filipino prospects in Albert "The Prince" Pagara and Arthur "El Matador" Villanueva. Pagara will again be tested against Thai Phupha Por Nobnou of Thailand, while Villanueva will go up against the veteran Rey Megriño of La Trinidad, Benguet.
