Sports 3-in-1 Camp at Aboitiz field

CEBU, Philippines - In one-of-a-kind training camp, three disciplines will be featured in the Sports 3-in-1 Camp on March 26 to April 4 at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City. These are baseball, football and frisbee.

Fastball general manager Jesse Bernad said the camp is open to kids aged five to 15 years old. The training session is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm daily.

“This is for the kids who are still undecided on what sports to have.They get to play baseball, football and frisbee unlike in other clinics that are solely devoted on one sport,” said Bernad.

For those who want to know more on baseball and softball, Fastball is organizing a separate camp from April 16 to May 4 also at the ASF.

The first week of training is intended for the fundamentals of batted sports, while the second week will focus on the rules and regulations of the game. What the campers have learned during the course of their training will be put to a test through friendly games in the third week. - THE FREEMAN
