CEBU, Philippines - The most prolific players in the 4th F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) basketball tournament will test each other's mettle in their annual All-Star Game featuring Dark versus Light tomorrow at the Brgy. Tisa gym.
Four exciting side events will take place before the main All-Star dish - the skills challenge, the 2-ball competition, the 3-point shootout and the slam dunk contest.
Those who will take part in the skills challenge are Andrew Pacubas, Allan Trinidad, Eloy Zapanta, Tonio Abella, Michael Palo, and Carly Medalle, while the 2-ball entries are Berto Codilla and Paul Cañete, Asyong Villordon/Wendell Abella, Noel Medalle/Wendell Ramoneda, Novelito Mirasol/Manny Avila, Calvert Malicay/Raul Cueme and Nietes Tabar/Dondon Cadungog.
The participants in the 3-point shootout are Junrey Arreglo, Ponce Lemaro, Jakeson Dumaguit, Wilson Guy, Onyot Masongson, and Arnel Trinidad, while Jovern Baldago, Eman Reubal, Mclean Alcueno, Dexter Caballero, Jaz Sydiongco, and Nico Rubio Laborte will showcase their high-flying stunts in the slam dunk contest.
In the battle among the stars, Team Light, manned by players from Grand & Jai, Chariz & Caleigh and Steven Jocabz, is composed of Junrey Arreglo, Daniel Enriquez, Maning Tomada, Paul Cañete, Tope Lavandero, Paton Dudalo, Eman Reubal, Ranel Patalita, Dexter Caballero, Michael Garcia, Porky Pacaña and Paul Cajucson.
The Dark side, drawing cagers from Simple Likes, Leo Lauron and CMK Trading, is bannered by Ryan Villaver, Mclean Alcueno, Robocop Jakosalem, JR Laurente, Calvert Malicay, Jaz Sydiongco, In-in Tolentino, Ipe Sabalande, Carly Medalle, Bobong Jabonero, Nico Laborte and Victor Avila. (FREEMAN)
