Webmasters crash out of NSBC cagefest

CEBU, Philippines - Life seems hard for the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters in the post-June Mar Fajardo era.

The reigning CESAFI men's basketball champion lost to Jose Maria College of Davao, 49-66, to crash out of the 64th National Students Basketball Championships (NSBC) yesterday in Dagupan City.

It was a wasted opportunity for the Webmasters, who defeated the same team in the elimination round, 76-72.

The Webmasters topped the 63rd edition of the tournament two years ago in Butuan City. There was no NSBC last year. (FREEMAN)
