Futsal tournament slated in Olango Island Feb. 25-26

CEBU, Philippines - Football players momentarily shift from the usual playing venues here with the staging of the 2012 Lapu-Lapu Olango Futsal Cup on February 25 to 26 in Olango Island.

This indoor football event features the men’s open, boys 17 and players 14 categories.

The organizers, however, are limiting the number of participants to 16 teams in the men's division and eight each in the boys 17 and players 14 on a first-come-first-served basis.

Each team shall be composed of 12 players, two officials and one officiating official in all categories to ensure fair play.

Entry fee is pegged at P800 in the men’s open and P400 in the age-groupers.
