First Du Ek Sam Run slated Dec. 4
CEBU, Philippines - Du Ek Sam, Inc. and DES Marketing seek to be part of running boom in Cebu by staging the first Du Ek Sam Run on December 4 at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center Cebu.
Over 1,000 fitness buffs are expected to join the race that features the 10K, 5K and 3K categories.
The event serves as a tribute to the 85th birthday of Du Ek Sam's matriarch Melecia Uy Du. Aside from Cebu, DES will also be holding runs in Tagbilaran and other key cities in Visayas.
Close to P20,000 in cash prizes are at stake for the top performers in each category. Appliances and apparels including a Samsung LED and LCD TV are also included in the grand prize.
Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 10K and P250 for the 3K and 5K.
