Convergys, Stream start strong in E-Leagues semis

CEBU, Philippines - Defending champion Convergys Wolves and Stream Blue Devils got off to winning starts in the semifinal round of the Powerade E-Leagues Basketball Tournament 2011 the other day at the City Sports Club-Cebu (CSCC) gym.

Ronald Mabanto paced Convergys with 13 points, while Emmanuel Auman and Dean Junber Escalon chipped in 12 points apiece.

 Franco Angelo Cipriano and Roy Joseph Lanzaderas led the Stallions with 20 and 18 points, respectively.

In the other match, Stream thrashed the towering Teletech Titans, 84-78, behind the 24-point explosion of Sylvester Millevo.

Roderick Mangubat and Benjie Mancao backed up Millevo with 34 points combined.
