Stallions FC trounces Cebu Queen City United, 8-0

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Queen City United's bid to bounce back was met with an even bigger heart-break after the Cebuano booters absorbed a merciless 0-8 beating from Stallions FC, in their Group C match in the UFL Cup yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Sports Stadium in Manila.

Last week, Cebu QCU lost to Global FC, 3-0, and with yesterday's setback, they remained as the only winless team left in the group with two more matches to go.

The Cebu QCU will face Pachanga next week as a make up for the cancellation of their opening day encounter.

Even if they emerge victorious, Cebu's quarterfinal bid would not be that bright and clear.    - (THE FREEMAN)
