Third edition of Gullas Run takes off on Saturday

CEBU, Philippines - All is set for the 3rd Gullas Run this Saturday at the Talisay City South Coastal Road.

Those who have not yet registered for the event have until October 6 to enlist.

Entry forms are available at the Talisay City Sports Commission with telephone numbers 272-2755, Runnr at Ayala Center-Cebu and the University of Visayas through the office of Cebu First District Rep. Eddie "Eddiegul" R. Gullas.

The categories to be featured include the 10K, 5K and 3K.

The 3K run is for runners 12 years old and below, while the 5K has an open division and media category.

Cash prizes will be given away to the top performers in each class.

Proceeds of the race will be donated to the Alay Lakad scholars and to the Talisay athletes that will see action in the Cental Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet next month in Tagbilaran. - THE FREEMAN
