Poblacion 2 tallies first victory in Talisay hoopla
CEBU, Philippines - Poblacion 2 finally barged into the win column at the expense of the listless Pooc, 99-77, in the seniors division of the 2011 Talisay City Mayor’s Cup basketball tournament at the Talisay City Sports Complex.
Poblacion 2, thus, snapped out of its two-game losing slump, while handing Pooc its fourth straight loss in bracket A.
Dumlog is currently on top of bracket A totem pole with a 3-1 win-loss record, while Lawaan I leads in bracket B with a clean 3-0 slate.
In the SK category, Tanke scored back-to-back wins after crushing Lawaan 3, 77-60.
Relampagos paced Tanke with 14 points, while Erediano exploded with a game-high 27 points in a losing effort.
