CEBU, Philippines - Since it will be the only run on that date, PAREF Springdale is anticipating a huge turn out in their very first “Run With The Titans” on November 10 at the Parkmall, Mandaue City.
A close to 2,500 runners from different running clubs, fun runners and also parents, teachers and students of PAREF Springdale are expected to see action.
The event features seven categories- 15-K open, 15-K parents, 7-K open, 7-K teachers, 7-K parents, 3-K fun run, and a kiddie dash exclusive for Springdale students.
“We call it Run With The Titans because Titan is a symbol for Springdale,” said PAREF Springdale School director Rick Ampiloquio.
“Organizing this run is a part of school’s move to show that we have a variety of school activities to promote and aside from football, we have also different kinds of sports to focus.”
The run will also serve as a fund raising program for the school’s charity project in helping their beneficiary Kaabag Foundation that helps and feeds less fortunate children in different barangays in Ceby City.
Cash prizes await the top three finishers of the 15-K and 7-K categories, while the rest of the winners will receive gift checks from sponsors.
