Kenyan, Tutor rule ERUF Run

CEBU, Philippines - NETWORKSKenyan Abraham Missos and Cebu's homegrown talent Christy Sevilleno-Tutor dominated their respective divisions in yesterday's ERUF 161 Run at the Mandaue City reclamation area.

NETWORKSMissos topped the men's 12K race in 41 minutes and 12.82 seconds followed by Jordan Bacong with the time of 42:48.72.

NETWORKSAdonis Singson came out third with a 43:40.41 clocking followed by Robert Daang (44:06.77) and little-known Roger Saldro (47:38.24).

NETWORKSSevilleno-Tutor emerged as the fastest in the distaff side with the time of 58:31.93. She outsmarted Madelyn Carter by just a split of a second as the latter ended in 58:32.34, while Merlita Arias-Dunkin wound up third in one hour and 6.08 seconds.

 NETWORKSEmeralde Hermosilia outpaced celebrity runner Donna Cruz-Larrazabal to get the fourth spot. She clocked in 1:03:1.46, while Cruz-Larrazabal placed fifth in 1:07:02.

NETWORKSIn the men's 6K action, Joel Delposo took home the top honors with the time of 22 minutes and 17 seconds.

NETWORKSJorry Ycong trailed Delposo in 23:15.21 as Harold Estrado landed third in 23:28.17.

NETWORKSIn the women's side, the top three spots were occupied by Krisel Diongson (28:35.78), Allysa Lagahit (29:31.09) and Cecilia Cabahug (34:03.51).

     NETWORKSJan Cliff Debulosan and Lynle Cardenas grabbed part of the limelight after lording it over in the 3K run.

NETWORKSDebulosan topped the men’s 3K in 10:10.02, while Cardenas ruled the women's bracket in 13:38.80. (FREEMAN)
