Tanke slams Dumlog in Talisay caging

CEBU, Philippines - Tanke kicks off its title campaign with a 71-66 win over Dumlog in the seniors division of the Talisay City Mayor's Cup 2011 basketball tournament at the Talisay City Sports Complex.

Ernesto Dacua led the charge for Tanke with 17 points, while Christopher Obeso scored the same in a losing effort.

In the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) category, San Isidro mercilessly clobbered Lawaan, 84-66.

Meanwhile, the opening ceremony was graced by Cebu First District Rep. Eduardo R. Gullas and councilor Eddieul "Digul" Gullas III.

Sophie Real of San Isidro was the best muse in the SK division and Aiko Rachelle Sanchez in the seniors class.

Team Poblacion 1 grabbed part of the limelight after winning the dance presentation over Tanke as Cansojong wound up third.

The top three winners received P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.
