'Runnr Academy' sets second leg on Sept. 7

CEBU, Philippines - The “Runnr Academy” stages the second leg of free running clinic starting on September 7 at Active Zone, Ayala Center Cebu.

The clinic which is a joint project between Runnr and Ayala Center –Cebu allow participants to learn natural running form, strengthening exercises, common running injuries and its cure and nutrition and hydration from various speakers.

Participants also get to know the latest products and services from invited speakers provided by shoe companies and other firms that are in the running business.

The second leg covers 10 sessions scheduled on Wednesday nights at 7 o’clock with a lecture that lasts for about 40-45 minutes after which comes the “practicum”.

Participants will be classified into two, the slow and fast group before doing a 5-kilometer paced run around Cebu Business Park.

The two groups will then regroup outside of Active Zone after the run where they perform cool down exercises before going back to Runnr for snacks and a sip of cold water provided by Julie’s, Lots’ of Pizza and Summit.
