Second leg of Keiz BJ motocross series set this Sunday

- EBV -

CEBU, Philippines - The second leg of the 1st Keiz BJ Motors Motocross Series will take place this Sunday at the Caduawan race course in the municipality of Tabogon north of Cebu.

The event will be another double birthday motocross competition with race consultant Roy Ouano and Keizer Ornopia, son of Keiz BJ big boss and race organizer Siegfred Ornopia, celebrating their natal days. Keizer is also the defending champion in his category.

Brylle Ornopia, Seigfred's other son, will no longer be competing in the 65cc category as he wants to venture into a higher and more challenging class.

"Bisan 11 years old pa si Brylle pero mo-quit na siya sa 65cc category kay gusto niya mo step up. Bisan pa sa iya kalinghud, naglaraw na siya nga mo-asenso sa mao nga sport. Dili niya igsapayan kung dili siya modaog kay ang importante kaniya nga dunay challenge," said Siegfred.

The other topnotch riders to watch out for are Jovie Saulog of Manila and Burnok Mangosong of Davao. Saulog will be bringing along with him his 19-year-old daughter Jannelle who will see action in the ladies division.

Among the categories to be contested include experts, intermediate, beginners selection, limited edition, habal-habal, mini 65, mini 85, wanggits, executive A, B and C, ladies and local enduro.

The one-day race is backed up by Haojue Phils. through its managing head Edmund Pingkian, Cebu Mufflerhaus, RMO Motorparts, NC Racing, Joy Flores, Dr. Philip Montejo, GR Cycle Parts, Bogo Cycle Center, JRC Marketing and Motormade Merchandising. (FREEMAN)
