Yu scores shortest victory in Summit boxfest

Philippine-Australia Boxing Club’s 30 kgs. bet Richard Rama pulled off a 2-1 win against Marvin Pumar of Sta. Cruz Boxing Gym, while Rama's stablemate Heroshi Lubosta silenced Candijay, Bohol’s Joey Sajulga in the 63 kgs. division.

PABC’s two other entries, however, failed in their respective bids with Reymund Rama bowing to Marco Pumar, 0-3, and 48 kgs. Edu Rosal falling prey to Cabancalan’s Ferde San Roque, 0-3.

Mabolo logged in two wins courtesy of Jose Rogen Groyal, who defeated Banilad’s Jun Gabriel Besinga in the 28 kgs. class, and Christian Bacolod, who outpunched Cherwellan Cantel, in the 50 kgs. category.

In the other results, 57 kgs. Mardy Muaña of Camotes overpowered Bacolod’s John Rey Melligen, Consolacion’s Jonathan Francisco clobbered Elmer Baral, Dominique Casañares of Banilad sparnked Joe Paul Tanodra in the 26 kgs. class, and Lahug’s Deminiciano Mellanis outpointed Alex Belonguil of Lapu-Lapu City.
