Titans overpower Reds, 52-45

CEBU, Philippines - It was a come-from-behind triumph for the Teletech Titans as they overpowered the Eperformax Reds, 52-45, in the elimination round phase of the Cebu Powerade E-Leagues Basketball Tournament 2011 at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.

After the first period, the score was tied at 11-all, but Eperformax posted a four-point lead at the half, 25-21.

It was a close fight in the third quarter and the Titans managed to reduce the Eperformax' lead to two points.

The former champions came raging in the final canto via a 19-10 run enroute to a seven-point win.

Sherwin Anghay and Sherwin Emmanuel Resilla spearheaded the team's victory with 14 points apiece while Lourenz Limpangog added 10 markers.

In the other matches, Kyocera Frontiers thrashed Executive Boutique Tarantulas, 47-44, while Opinionology clobbered Wipro, 61-53.  (FREEMAN)
