Prizes galore in Sonshine Run

CEBU, Philippines - Over P15,000 in cash plus an assortment of fabulous prizes in kind are at stake for the top finishers in the DYAR 765 Sonshine Radio-presented 1st Cebu Sonshine Run this Sunday starting and ending at the Terraces grounds of Ayala Center Cebu.

The champion in the men and women's 12K with both pocket P3,000, a medal and a Timex watch.

Aside from medals and gift packs, the second to fifth will get P2,000, P1,000, P800 and P700, while the sixth to 10th placers will receive P300 each.

In the 6K category, the top winners will take home P1,500, a medal and a Timex watch, while the second to fifth will get P700 each plus medals. The sixth to 10th will not go home empty-handed as they will be given gift packs.

The fastest entries in the boys and girls 3K division will receive P1,000, a medal and a Timex watch each, while the second and third will get P750 and P500 plus medals.

Special awards will be handed out to the best in costume and biggest delegation. Finisher's certificates will also be distributed.

The organizers are encouraging participants to bring in-kind donation for the benefit of Children's Joy Foundation.

Registration fee is pegged at P250 for the 3K and 6K and P350 for the 12K. Entry forms are available at RUNNR and R.O.X. both at Active Zone in Ayala, Columbia-The Northwing of SM City-Cebu and Holiday Gym and Spa in Banilad.
