CEBU, Philippines - The management of Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu led by its dynamic general manager Grant Gaskins has invited the top names of ALA Promotions' roster of fighters to grace the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley pay per view event today.
ALA marquee names WBO minimumweight champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes, WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight champion AJ “Bazooka” Banal, WBC Youth Intercontinental flyweight champion Milan “El Metodico” Melindo and the charismatic Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista checked in last night at Cebu’s newest and classiest hotel for today’s viewing of the year’s most anticipated Pac-Mosley fight.
Also joining them are ALA prospects Mark Jason Melligen, WBO Asia-Pacific Youth light welterweight champion Jason Pagara, PABA bantamweight super champ Roli Gasca, OPBF flyweight champion Rocky Fuentes and the ever reliable boxing veteran Michael Domingo.
Scheduled to join the ALA fighters was boxing hero and former ALA fighter Z “The Dream” Gorres but a trip to Manila for a scheduled doctor’s visit kept the inspirational athlete from honoring the event with his presence.
A program is being prepared by the hotel’s management for the international boxing extravaganza and "Pinoy Pride" prices will be given away through the course of the show.
"Pinoy Pride 6: Grudge Rematch" will rise in the ring on June 11, with Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista of the Philippines trying to redeem himself from a 2008 loss to Mexico’s Heriberto “Cuate” Ruiz.
The Pacquiao-Mosley PPV event at the Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu is part of the world class hotel’s support for sports and the beloved Filipino athlete. (PR) (FREEMAN)
