MN'GIA cagers score anew

CEBU, Philippines -  Team MN'GIA made it two games in a row but not without passing through a major scare before pulling off a 58-57 thriller over ANAD Partylist in the Pacific Grand Villa Homeowners Association (PGVHA) Purcia summer basketball tournament at the subdivision's open court in Lapu-Lapu City.

In the other game, Alvic came up with 52-35 rout of Purcia to even its win-loss record to 1-1.

Allan Augusto topped MN'GIA with 14 points capped by the game-winning basket. Loloy Laniba also had 14 points followed by Nikki Pimentel with nine markers. (FREEMAN)
