Rose Aquarius takes on Winner today

CEBU, Philippines - Fresh from an impressive 77-69 conquest of Lion Tiger, Rose Aquarius Merchandising hopes to score a repeat victory against Winner Beef Loaf tonight in the 5th CESAFI Partners' Cup at the Cebu Coliseum.

Rose Aquarius of coach Raul Latonio, Sr. defeated Winner Beef Loaf in the first round, 89-75.

The skidding Winner Beef Loaf, on the other hand, would also want to arrest its slide in order to improve their cellar-dwelling 1-6 win-loss mark.

 Rose Aquarius will rely on Fritz Dajalos, Joseph Sedurifa, Lawrence Maraño and the Ferraren brother Earvin and James, while Chester Curso is expected to lead Winner Beef Loaf alongside Allan Dimco, Steve Castro, Franklyn Batiquin and Floyd Taboada, among others. 

 In the main game, Ave Maria Sanctuary Park wants to register another victory to improve a 3-4 win-loss card, which is uncharacteristic for a USJR Jaguar-bannered team.

 Ave Maria is also seeking an encore against the San Marino Corned Tuna, whom they chunked into pieces last April 18, 92-57 demolition.
