Prime Asia trounces Winner Beef Loaf

CEBU, Philippines - Giovanni Padillo sparkled with 14 points as Prime Asia Pawnshop cruised to an 83-52 demolition of Winner Beef Loaf in the 5th CESAFI Partners' Cup last Tuesday night at the Cebu Coliseum.

The 33-20 lead by Prime Asia at halftime swelled to more than 20 points through the next two quarters.

Winner failed to recover and eventually lost by 31 points. It was one point more than Ave Maria's 83-53 hacking of the Rose Aquarius Merchandising earlier as both teams ended the first round of elimination in graceful fashion.

            Prime Asia closed with an even 3-3 win-loss record in a tie with Ave Maria, while Winner fell to the cellar in a tie with Rose at 1-5.
