ThreeSixty Pharmacy to stage night run

- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -

CEBU, Philippines - Less than 500 slots are left for the year's first night race, the ThreeSixty Pharmacy-1, set this Saturday at the Mandaue City reclamation area.

As of this writing, more than 1,000 runners have already signed up for the event.

The race organizers are limiting the number of participants to only 1,500 to ensure everyone’s safety even as Dakay Construction has committed to light up the entire route.

More to it, the organizers want each runner to go home with something to eat and drink courtesy of Dranix, a sister company of ThreeSixty plus gift packs from Unilab and ThreeSixty itself.

The first 200 participants have also been given free racing bandanas from Enervon.

The event features the 10K, 5K and 3K run plus the kiddie dash that will be divided into two age brackets, 3-7 and 8-13.

The first 200 finishers in the 10K will receive a specially-designed medal from Suarez and Sons Inc., while the top performers in the regular categories get cash prizes. The top kiddie runners will be given gift packs.

To spice up the action, there will be a fireworks display provided by Dragonworks. It will signal the start of each category instead of the usual starting gun.

Registration fee is pegged at P300 for the 10K and P250 for the 5K and 3K. Entry forms are available at Nike in Banilad Town Center, Centre for Sight at Cebu Doctors' University Hospital, and at ThreeSixty Pharmacy beside Ala King Restaurant near Chong Hua Hospital. – (FREEMAN)
