Adlawan to compete in Denmark motocross series

CEBU, Philippines - After emerging as the best placed Pinoy rider in round 1 of FIM’s Asian Motocross Championships recently, Jon-Jon Adlawan will leave for Denmark this Saturday for a series of competitions.

The University of San Carlos engineering student will be in Denmark until the end of the month.

The 20-year-old Adlawan will first undergo training and practice for a week before testing his might against seasoned Danish daredevils and even from other countries who are also expected to see action.         

The races that Adlawan will compete include in Roskilde on April 16, Herning on April 21, Kalundbrog on April 24 and Bornholm on April 30.

The back-to-back MS Motosuit 'Rider of the Year' and SAC-SMB All-Cebu Sports Awards honoree Adlawan will be accompanied by his father Jonas and mom Leila.

It will be Adlawan's first trip to Denmark although he has already been into several international tournaments fighting for the flag and country. – (FREEMAN)
