People Power Run set
CEBU, Philippines - Cebu will be one of the areas to host the People Power Run on February 27 at the Fuente Osmeña.
Aside from Cebu, there will also be a similar run in Manila for the Luzon area.
A few years back, several sporting activities also took place as part of the People Power Revolution anniversary.
For this year's action, the event also serves as a fund-raiser activity to build classrooms.
“Our beneficiary for the event, which the title connotes, goes to building classrooms to augment the shortfall of DEPED’s budget. We sincerely hope you can help us make this moment a success,” said Gabriel Cruz, People Power Run chairman in Cebu.
For those who opt to walk, there’s also a 3- kilometer walk for them.
Other details of the said event will be announced in tonight’s press conference at Mesa Restaurant at the Ayala Center-Cebu. (FREEMAN)
