Yellow rules LABA hoopla

CEBU, Philippines - Yellow-D'Bombers demolished the Joules Lechon Manok-sponsored White squad, 85-68, to win the championship of the Los Amigos Basketball Association (LABA) Inter-Color League at the Banilad Sports Center.

Led by virtual MVP choice Richard Jordan, the Yellow team dominated the game from start to finish and even their second stringers have the luxury of shooting from the outside with confidence because of their big lead all throughout the 40-minute skirmish.

Dennis Rabanal paced Yellow with 14 points, while Jordan and Chris Ubas scored 10 apiece.

Yellow's stifling defense also grounded the offense of White top gunner Dodoy Rizane who was handcuffed to only six points, way below his 20-point per game average.

Earlier, Arnold Pestaño sizzled with 36 points as the Black-Snipers defeated Green-Zic, 86-75, to lift the third place trophy.
