Forty-eight kgs. bet Richie Montealto silenced Florencio Urot’s Michael Lopez, Reoxyl Tabogon pulled off a close 2-1 win against University of the Visayas’ Dann Lou Codilla in the 51 kgs. class, while Eleno Traya scored a 3-0 whitewash of Tacloban’s Jan Ivor Lastrilla in the 57 kgs. division.

Roldan Bereso was not as lucky as his comrades, bowing to Cabancalan’s Ryan Cagatulla in the 46 kgs. category.

Polid Banal also delivered victory for Cabancalan squad after taming Urot’s Ricardo Lopez in their 40 kgs. duel.

Flores Boxing Club, on the other hand, posted a 2-2- win-loss card.

Thirty kgs. Rommel Tuñacao overpowered Banilad’s Ramel Casañares, while 36 kgs. Melmark Dignos went too much for Philippine-Australia Boxing Club’s Rhezon Tarona.

PABC, however, avenged its loss to FBC, with 32 kgs. Reymond Rama defeating Jonriel Jecong.

The other FBC mainstay in Mark Kevin Sereño lost to Talamban’s Kevin Jake Cataraja in the 46 kgs. division.

Camotes’ lone entry, 57 kgs. Mardy Moaña, earned a 2-1 win over Lahug’s Dominiciano Millanes, Butuan’s 62 kgs. Mark Bernaldez dumped Toledo’s Rhiyan Canillas, while UV's Christian Apawan prevailed over PABC’s Rodel Wenceslao in the 58 kgs. division. (FREEMAN)
