Guba-Quillope duo tops Yayoy's darts

CEBU, Philippines - The tandem of Arnel Guba and Yoko Quillope hurdled all challenges to win the 2011 Yayoy's Grill Sinulog Open Doubles Dartfest at Yayoy's Grill along Orchid Street, Capitol Site, this city.

Guba and Quillope faced a mix of veteran and up-coming darters, plus the loud sounds at the venue due to the pre-Sinulog celebration, yet, they still managed to win the title.

The final battle saw Guba and Quillope defeating Alvin Villa and Bambam Tabanday.

Odong Pamatian and Morex Galanza took third place while Nilo Janson and Oning Bacalso settled for fourth.

Joint fifth and sixth were the duo of Marlito Patunob and Macross Amora and Eugene Managuit and Kenneth Britania.

Joint seventh and eighth were Michael Bucio and Jerome Perales and Paul Nacua and Toybatz Bandolon.   (FREEMAN NEWS)
