Few slots left for Christmas golf
CEBU, Philippines – There are still a few slots left for the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club Christmas Fun Golf Classic, which tees off this Saturday and Sunday.
The tournament is open exclusively for club members, but guests can play as long as they have been invited by the sponsors.
Bet Suplico of Alta Vista said that there are already over 200 registrants for the two-day, 18-hole tournament.
Entry fee is P2,500, but an additional P200 will be collected for the mulligan. This entitles the player to one free shot for every nine holes.
The giveaway for the event is a pair of Etonic golf shoes.
The tournament will follow the stroke play format. Players can choose what day they would play, but those who have registered earlier would be given the priority in terms of tee times.
Several prizes are at stake for a hole-in-one and there are also lots of raffle prizes during the awards ceremony on Sunday at the AVGCC ballroom. (FREEMAN)
